The Seniors’ Committee has been active in the parish since 2012. It provides essential spiritual, pastoral, and social support for the elderly in our community, helping them to live their faith and avoid isolation.

The number of elderly people participating in our activities has grown significantly over the years, from around 20 people when the committee began to more than 100 today.

The Committee helps elderly parishioners stay connected, live their faith, and enjoy meaningful social interaction. Gatherings are typically held fortnightly - every second Thursday, beginning with Mass at 10:30am in the Youth Centre, followed by entertainment and lunch. More than 30 dedicated volunteers regularly assist the elderly in participating in these activities.

In addition, the Committee organises annual celebrations for the elderly, including lunches for Christmas, Easter, the Feast of the Assumption of Our Lady, Mother's Day, and Father's Day. These events are celebrated in a joyful atmosphere in the parish hall and attract around 200 attendees.

Spiritual and social excursions and retreats are also part of the life of the Seniors' Committee.

If you would like to support our ministry, we warmly invite you to join the Seniors’ Committee as a volunteer. Please get in contact with us at the email below. We would love to hear from you.
