Altar Servers

The Altar Servers Committee coordinates altar serving across the parish, recruiting and training servers to assist at Mass with reverence. They foster faithful service and lead others closer to Christ.

Arabic School

The program teaches children Arabic language skills and Maronite Lebanese culture. Students learn to read, write and speak Arabic, explore heritage, and preserve traditions. Open to all seeking knowledge of Arabic and Lebanese culture.

Choir

The OLOL Choir leads the congregation in prayer through Syriac Maronite hymns and liturgical music to deepen parishioners’ connection to their spiritual heritage during the Divine Liturgy and other celebrations.

Events Committee

The Events Committee coordinates parish liturgical & community events including: Hosanna Sunday, Passion Week, processions, Feast of the Assumption, and Christmas Carols, fostering unity and participation.

Faith and Light

The Faith & Light Committee serves individuals with special needs, embracing them and their families in parish life. It fosters friendship, faith, inclusion, deepening connections with Christ, offering social activities & spiritual growth.

Family Committee

The committee supports parish families by promoting Maronite faith, marriage life and community belonging. It runs sessions for couples, family activities, retreats and social events, and help strengthen ties among children, teens and youth.

Family of the Divine Word

The word of the Lord guided the early church and still gives life, growth & answers. The Family of Divine Word aims to know Jesus, read & live the word, share it, strengthen families in faith & support unity across all Christian traditions.

Fersen Al Adra

Fersen Al Adra guides children aged 5 to 13 in the Maronite faith through the example of Mary. They meet weekly for prayer, learning and activities, including games, excursions and camps. Members commit to living as children of Mary.

Holy Communion

The Holy Communion Committee’s purpose is to guide children in preparing for the sacraments of Reconciliation, First Holy Communion, and Confirmation. It teaches the meaning of the Eucharist, fosters understanding of Maronite sacramental life.

Ladies of Our Lady

Ladies of Our Lady supports women in our parish through prayer, reflection and fellowship. The group hosts multiple events fostering spiritual growth, community, and a deeper appreciation of women’s faith and role in the Church.

Liturgical Committee

The Liturgical Committee coordinates parish celebrations, Divine Liturgies, feasts, and sacred seasons. They prepare readings, prayers, hymns, sacred spaces, and processions, enriching worship and deepening communion with God.

Marian Apostolic Movement (MAM)

The Marian Apostolic Movement gathers young adults for prayer, reflection, and talks. It builds faith and fellowship through testimonies, discussions, and retreats, forming faithful Christian leaders.

Maronite Flame Teens

Teens’ Group unites Maronite youth aged 14 to 18. They meet weekly for prayer, learning and service through activities, games and camps. Members use their talents for others and commit to living as children of Mary.

Media Committee

The Media Committee coordinates & shares OLOL parish information, promotes events, manages media policies, and oversees social media, print, and the website, collaborating with committees and media firms to streamline communications.

Men’s Ministry

The Men’s Ministry empowers men to live Catholic faith with courage and service. Open to all, it builds friendships, supports spiritual growth, and fosters leadership through prayer, fellowship, retreats, outreach, and monthly gatherings.

OLOL Youth

The Maronite Youth Organisation (MYO) fosters and strengthens youth faith, creating an environment that supports their spiritual growth as the youth are the future of the parish.

Parish pastoral council

The Parish Pastoral Council supports clergy in the pastoral care of the parish. Through monthly meetings, it reflects on community needs, coordinates activities, reviews initiatives, and strengthens parish life, drawing people closer to Christ.

Road to Emmaus

The Road to Emmaus group, formed in 2023 for single Catholics aged 30-50, builds friendships and community. It offers a welcoming space to grow in faith, connect with like-minded people, and support each other spiritually and socially.

Safeguarding

The Safeguarding Committee promotes a safe, respectful parish for all. It works with the Maronite Eparchy to uphold safeguarding standards, provide training, and protect children and adults at risk.

Seniors Committee

The Seniors Committee supports elderly members of our Maronite community through care, activities, celebrations, and visits. They promote spiritual growth, wellbeing, and connection while working to enhance the lifestyle of our seniors.

Sodality of the Immaculate Conception

The Sodality of the Immaculate Conception, the first branch of the Marian Family, helps adults deepen faith, follow Mary’s example, and support members across other branches in their spiritual journey and activities.

Stewardship committee

The Stewardship Committee supports the parish through financial oversight, resource management, and planning. They promote transparency, sustainability, growth, and preserve our heritage.

The Roses of st Rita

The Roses of Saint Rita supports the Saint Rita Maronite Mass Centre through monthly prayers and novenas. They host spiritual gatherings, feast celebrations, and volunteer appreciation events, fostering faith, fellowship, and growth.
