Community - MAM
The Marian Apostolic Movement (MAM) are a group of young individuals who aged over 18, from various backgrounds. They Share a common belief in CHRISTIANITY.
They assist the Parish Priest with Mass and the Church’s activities.
They are also involved in Special Easter and Christmas celebrations, plus other spiritual events.
To be a member, you need to be at least 18 years of age, faithfully committed to your religious obligations and to respect and accept all the by-laws set in the MAM constitution. Once the specified conditions have been satisfied, the member proceeds to the next stage which lasts 3 months. This is the testing period during which the executive committee monitors how the designated member is coping and adapting with their duties and obligations of a MAM member. If the designated member does well during those 3 months then they are announced as a member. A year later, the member may decide to take the MAM oath, and their name is registered in the MAM list.
