Who we are?

Maronite Counselling service is provided by the Maronite Catholic church.

What do we offer?

Workshops

The service organises a series of personal development workshops throughout the year. These workshops have a particular focus on the following issues:

• Relationships,
• Marriage preparation program
• Employment,
• Study and stress management,
• Alcohol & other Drug awareness,
• Suicide prevention & awareness,
• Communication and negotiation skills.

Counselling/support

Provided by our professional team who are there to offer you the support you need. This team is made up of; a registered psychologist, youth worker and members of the clergy, all which have relevant training and experience. If you need to talk with someone, you are not alone, contact the service and remember CONFIDENTIALITY IS ASSURED.

Information and referral

If you are unsure where to get information on a particular issue or what to do about a problem, we can help you get access to the appropriate services or resources. If we can’t help you we’ll find someone who can.

Community Education

The Maronite youth service in conjunction with other services, organise a range of information sessions relevant to youth issues. Also we try and provide an up to date calender on the different programs and activities targeting the youth.

Community Development

Maronite youth project liase with different organisations and services within the local community. The aim of this is to promote access to the resources available in the wider community.
